ABOUT ME

Solomon Daniel Emmanuel, Founder - ZpotHub News, was born on April 4, 1994, in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. Hails from Ezza, Ezza-North Local Government Area in Ebonyi State.

Attended Ago Iwoye Secondary School in Ogun State. That was where my love for stories and information started, always been curious about how news, media, and communication shape people, communities, and nations.

To build on that passion, I studied Film and Television Production at PEFTI Film Institute, Ajao Estate, Lagos. The training gave me the skills to tell stories that connect with real people. It taught me how to research, how to verify information, and how to present complex topics in a way that is clear and engaging.

After school, I worked on different media and content projects. Through those experiences, I saw the gaps in Nigerian digital media. I saw how fast misinformation could spread and how many important stories were being ignored.

I believe great journalism starts with great people skills. As a founder, I am committed to continuous learning in leadership, communication, and teamwork.

WHY I STARTED ZPOTHUB NEWS

ZpotHub News was founded on July 4, 2025.

I started ZpotHub News because I believed Nigerians deserved better. We deserved a news platform that puts facts first. A platform that is independent, transparent, and focused on the people.

At the time, I noticed three big problems: 

1. Too much fake news and unverified information online

2. Too much noise and sensational headlines

3. Not enough focus on stories that affect ordinary Nigerians

I wanted to build a solution. So I created ZpotHub News.

Our mission from day one was simple: Verify first. Report second. Explain clearly.

WHAT WE COVER

Today, ZpotHub News covers Politics, Government, Business and Economy, Sports, Entertainment, Technology, and Global news. 

Our primary focus is Nigeria and Africa, but we also report international stories that affect Nigerians at home and in the diaspora. From policy decisions to football transfers, from startup news to music releases — if it matters to our audience, we cover it.

THE VISION

My goal for ZpotHub News is simple:  

To become one of Nigeria’s most trusted sources of information. A place where readers can come and get the truth without noise, without bias, and without fear.

We are still growing. Every article we publish, every fact we verify, and every story we tell is a step toward building a media brand that will document this.
