Obasanjo say e dey worried because many Nigerians don lose faith for the system.
"Wen people no believe election again, wen people no believe court again, wen people no believe government again, say dat democracy dey insid danger," Im tok.

JONATHAN: "PEACEFUL POLITICS NA THE KEY"
Former President Goodluck Jonathan too talk serious thing for the event. Jonathan na the man wey organize the dialogue through him foundation.
Jonathan remind people how he hand over power peacefully in 2015. "I show Nigeria and Africa say power no be do-or-die. Democracy mean say if people vote you out, you go house," he talk.
The former president say Nigeria need institutions wey strong enough to protect democracy.
"When institutions weak, politicians go dey do anyhow. But when institutions strong, everybody go follow law," Jonathan explain.
He talk about 3 things wey Nigeria must fix:
1. Electoral reform - "INEC must get money, must get independence, and must use technology to make election transparent."
2. Political party reform - Jonathan say political parties don turn to shops. "Party suppose get ideology. No be say today you dey APC, tomorrow you dey PDP, next tomorrow you dey ADC."
3. Youth and women participation - "If we no carry youth and women enter politics, we dey waste our future. Dem be the majority."
Jonathan also beg politicians make dem dey peaceful. "We no need blood to win election. We need ideas. We need to convince people with wetin we go do for them."
Since Jonathan leave office, he don dey travel Africa dey help countries do peaceful election. He say Nigeria suppose lead by example.
"Other countries dey watch us. If Nigeria democracy fail, Africa democracy go get problem," he warn.
OBI: "NIGERIANS DON SUFFER ENOUGH"
Peter Obi enter the matter with fire. The former Anambra governor and 2023 presidential candidate talk say Nigerians don suffer too much.
"Nigerians deserve better," Obi talk with emotion. "We deserve government wey go think about poor man, not just rich man. We deserve government wey go build schools, not just buy private jet."

"How you go explain say government dey spend billions on lawmakers, but teachers dey owe 6 months salary? How you go explain say we dey borrow money to buy car for senators, but hospitals no get drugs?" he ask.
The Labour Party leader say Nigeria need to change from "consumption to production."
"We no fit continue dey import toothpick, import rice, import everything. We must start to produce. That na the only way poverty go reduce," Obi talk.
He list 5 areas where Nigeria need urgent reform:
1. Education - "If we no educate our children, we dey create future criminals."
2. Healthcare - "Health na wealth. Government must invest for hospital."
3. Security - "Nobody go invest where dem dey kidnap people every day."
4. Economy - "We must support small businesses. Dem be the engine of growth."
5. Fight corruption - "We must cut cost of governance. Nigeria no fit afford this expensive democracy again."
Obi tok say 2027 opposition parties need to come together.
"If we divide ourselves, APC go win again. But if we unite and bring one candidate with clear plan, Nigerians go support us," he hint.
Young people shout and clap when Obi dey talk. Many of his supporters wear "Obi-dient" shirts come the event.
DEMOCRACY UNDER PRESSURE: WETIN DEY HAPPEN

Problem 1: Cost of living

2027 ELECTION: THE BIG FIGHT DEY COME
The Bauchi meeting get big political meaning because 2027 election dey just 18 months away.
President Bola Tinubu and APC don already start campaign. Oga Presido don talk say he want second term to "finish the job."
But opposition dey gather too.
