ABUJA — Another one.
President Bola Tinubu has ordered a full investigation into a second alleged fake government agency after the ICPC briefed him on Friday, August 21, 2026.
And this time, the organization was not operating from a shop somewhere. It was reportedly running from inside a government office.

After receiving a briefing from ICPC Chairman Musa Adamu Aliyu, President Tinubu gave a direct order: investigate this fully.

When you see a government agency, you assume it is real. You assume it was created by law. You assume someone is supervising it.
If fake agencies can operate freely, that trust breaks.
A business owner might pay a "processing fee" to a fake agency thinking it’s for government certification.
A young entrepreneur might apply for a "Made in Nigeria" grant that doesn’t exist.
